Learning Designer

Location:
Fully remote, UK based

Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000


Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading learning and development training provider to present an exciting opportunity.

The Learning Designer will join a global company to bring plain content to life in the digital landscape, withintheir growing design team.


The Role:


  • Work with the central team to define design standards, templates, and processes to streamline the overall design process
  • Strategize with the central team to continuously improve the design process in order to reach peak efficiency
  • Design with reuse, modularity, and translation in mind
  • Collaborate with SMEs to plan out the most efficient solution to each learning topic
  • Provide expertise during client design conversations
  • Provide an additional level of Quality Assurance for all resources created
  • Setup and build the framework of each learning experience in the specified authoring environment/learning management systems
  • Collate digital materials into a final product for client delivery
  • Innovate experiences by researching and implementing new tools or approaches to make our training the best in the world

You will need:


  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Degree or an equivalent qualification in Digital Education, Learning Experience Design, Educational Technology, Distance Learning, or a similar course
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of L&D and its digital processes
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of authoring tools, for example Evolve, Captivate, and Articulate360
  • Experience working with LMS platforms
  • Experience working on multilingual projects
