THE POSITION
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a real impact in role and become an integral part in the growth of the Birmingham office, which covers the Midlands region, supported by a well-established and highly regarded brand with over 35 years' experience and strong presence in industry.
In this role you will be working alongside experienced colleagues as part of multiple cohesive teams, responsible for the delivery of Project Management services across a range of projects in various sectors through all phases of design, preconstruction, construction and project completion.
This position would be ideal for an Associate Director, or an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to take a step up, who wants to have a real say in the growth and direction of a new office.

- Rounded experience (approximately 10+ years') delivering significant projects through the full project life cycle in one or more of the above sectors.
- Experience performing the role of the Contract Administrator/Employers Agent under relevant building contracts.
- BA/BSc/MA/MEng degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate Development, Architecture or a related engineering field preferred but not essential.
- Professional accreditation with industry related professional body (RICS, CIOB, APM etc.) preferred but not essential.
- Prior experience working in a client focused, consultancybased environment is essential.
- Experience of business development activities desirable but not essential.
- Experience of management and mentoring of internal teams is essential.
- Good knowledge of the construction industry and technical matters such as procurement and managing financial elements of a project.
- Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
- Adept at problemsolving and a drive to overcome obstacles to obtain results for clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word etc
- Proficiency in the use of ASTA Powerproject software desirable but not essential.
- Full UK Driving licence required.
