About the role:


The Business Change Support Change team within OPTISM (Operations for Treasury Services, Issuer Services and Markets) is looking for a Senior Manager to come in to manage and have overall oversight of the delivery of a portfolio of change to support our Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations (GPTSO) group.

This will involve managing all aspects of the portfolio including; capital planning, resource allocation, financial tracking, reporting and crucially, the management of senior stakeholders within our Operations, Technology, Business and Product teams.


In the role, you will be required to:

  • Oversee and monitor execution of complex projects within the GPTSO Portfolio book of work, that will; enhance the client experience and product features, improve operational scale, standardize global processes and approaches, reduce opportunities for risk and improve margins/reduce costs
  • Manage / collaborate on decision making with internal stakeholders such as Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance & more regards the continuous prioritization of items within the Portfolio book of work.
  • Demonstrate strong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills with partners of all levels; from your peers to senior OPTISM management
  • Manage and monitor the Portfolio budget, periodically reviewing plan forecast vs actuals to ensure continued alignment and investigation/remediation and communication of any variance
  • Leverage data analysis and planning skills including quantitative and qualitative analysis, pre and post implementation; using data during project initiation to help determine priorities and business benefit/impact and post implementation to validate and measure success.
  • Design, drive and be accountable for the consistent utilization of a program/project tracking cadence and approach that aligns with the corporate standard and toolset (JIRA, PPM etc).

Skills we are seeking:


  • Deep practical knowledge and understanding of the project management practices and techniques. Experienced in indirect management of global teams across various lines of business.
  • Use of and exposure to agile delivery methods and SDLC (Software delivery lifecycle) is requirement; including tools such as Jira/Confluence, methods such as SCRUM and Sprint delivery, User Stories and Design Thinking, product backlog management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • An innovative mind, with a strong hands on mentality and focus on successful execution within challenging deadlines
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing change, process improvement and new product initiatives
  • A proven multitasker, that can operate under pressure and balance multiple priorities and time constraints
  • Team player, someone who is proactive and a selfstarter; capable of independent working and collaborating with their peers when needed
  • Desire to transform the way things are; challenge the statusquo, striving for solutions that are best in class
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly with outstanding analytical skills, structured thinking, ability to connect the dots across similar problem statements and exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills both written and verbal
