At our school staff and governors work hard with families to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to grow to their full academic, personal and spiritual potential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities/Accountabilities:


  • Reception and telephone enquiries.
  • Photocopying
  • To assist the School Business Manager with the preparation of class registers / dinner orders
  • Recording lates each day, to contact parents for queries of absence (see School Policy)
  • To assist School Business Manager with banking, recording of income & counting of money
  • To assist School Business Manager with organising trips/coaches etc
  • Update data sheets when required
  • Assist the School Business Manager in the smooth running of the school office.
  • Any other duties as may be required by the Headteacher.
The above job description may be amended following consultation with the Headteacher.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Able to deal effectively with people at all levels.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Have a good standard of Numeracy and literacy.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Willing to attend relevant training course.
  • Flexible approach and able to work as part of a team.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Good ICT skills (Microsoft packages including word, excel)
  • Knowledge of Sims (desirable)
30 Hours per week 08.45am pm (non-negotiable), term time.


Required as soon as possible to work in a busy school office to provide support to the Governors, Head Teacher, School Buiness Manager Staff and Pupils of the School.


  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A*C/94 or Level 2 equivalent) desirable
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A*C/94 or Level 2 equivalent) desirable
