Previous working knowledge and experience in COLL, FUND, UCITS AIFMD, and in particular CASS regulatory environment would be a distinct advantage in addition to strong technical IT skills.

What you will be responsible for

  • Supporting the Depositary Operations Officer in managing the SSTL Operations team responsible for Service Delivery.
  • Ensure that the Depositary Operations team complies with applicable regulations, including but not limited to COLL, FUND and CASS rulebooks (as related to UCITS V and AIFMD) and that systems and controls are sufficiently robust to mitigate any risks to the business whilst providing support to all levels as necessary
  • Play a leading role in day to day client relationships, participating in service reviews and other meetings with Operational staff and SSTL management as appropriate
  • Build, nurture and manage robust and sustainable relationships with clients responding to client queries timely
  • Support our client base in matters of a technical or regulatory nature
  • Manage operational risk across current and prospective client base
  • Contribute to developing a risk based approach operating to meet the fiduciary requirements of SSTL
  • Oversee breach correspondence with Managers/ACDs and regulators as applicable
  • Oversee delegated relationships with third parties

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree qualified
  • Relevant funds industry experience
  • Sound understanding of the regulatory framework for Funds (UCITS/Non-UCITS and CASS)
  • Knowledge of, or familiarity with, investment monitoring systems
