Finance Analyst - Operations
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Team as our Finance Analyst for the WP group, with hybrid Working, Monday-Friday,
WP Group (Part of Moove Europe) is a leading fuels distribution company. Our head office is based in central Southampton. We specialise in the supply of high-quality fuels to domestic, commercial and corporate Customers.

The Position
The Finance Analyst provides direct support to the Operation and Finance Teams through the provision of detailed Business Intelligence, Data Analysis and Performance Reporting across the Moove Fuels business.
Delivering effective support to data driven decision making and enabling maximised Productivity through analysis of data from multiple sources will be a key accountable.
Linked to effective and timely reporting to monitor and track trends.Responsibilities
- Compile and communicate accurate Daily, Weekly and Monthly OOE reporting. Provide Productivity and Performance Data analysis to support Data driven decisions. Support Maximum Daily Productivity across Sales and Operations. Capture, Analysis and Report on Airport Energy Productivity data, e.g., Drivers Hours, Delivery Success and Scheduling efficiency. Freight and OPEX analysis
- Input to Business Planning
- P&L and Balance Sheet Reporting
- Support the Financial Controller with Operations CAPEX submissions
- Monitor and Report on Fleet Down Time and Repair Freight Spend
- Support compliance of driver hours, ensuring they are monitored, managed, and reported. Professional record keeping providing transparency, traceability and enable efficient operational / commercial review. Coordinate business planning
Experience and Attributes Needed
- Systems analysis
- Accounting and budgeting
- Data processing
- Advanced Microsoft office Skills
- Excel, PowerPoint (Essential)
- Experience with Power BI (desired)
- Fuel Industry knowledge would be advantageous but not a necessity
- Positive attitude, proactive, strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure. Strong Time Management and organisational skills
- Strong administrative capability
- Selfdriven with strong Communication skills to support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
