The role involves working one on one with our client, providing administrative support and assistance, thus facilitating their own professional role.


We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person, to be an administrative support worker to our disabled client who works for United in Kind as a coach.

The organisation our client works for is based is in the Essex area. As the client is a hybrid worker you will have to be flexible with working at various locations.

We require someone with experience of supporting a disabled person in the workplace.


About the Role:
As an Administrative Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with and meeting other vulnerable adults
  • Traveling during the working day in and around the Harlow and Essex area
  • Taking and typing up comprehensive notes
  • Proofreading work
  • General ad hoc administrative/ PA duties

About You:

  • You will be able to demonstrate:
  • A high level of written/verbal communication and professionalism
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Have strong typing skills and the ability to take act as a scribe for our client.
  • You must be able to work collaboratively and cohesively as our client works alongside other organisations.
  • Have a valid DBS and be able to provide proof (required, preferably on the updating register
  • Demonstrate a high level of trust, integrity with a good understanding of confidentiality
  • Punctual, organised and reliable
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different areas of Merton and the surrounding area
  • A willingness to travel outside of the area to support our client in inperson work related training and events.
  • Excellent observational skills, with an eye for detail
  • Adaptable to change

Hours and Benefits:

Rate of Pay:
£14.35

Working hours are up to 13 hours weekly and may include weekends and evenings.

Pension contributions are supported.

Holiday pay is paid monthly in addition to salary (pro rata)
