EMBL-EBI is seeking a Research Programme Officer to assist with the delivery of a programme of research projects under the supervision of our Research Group Leaders.

The Research Programme Officer will work with the relevant Research Group Leaders to develop and deliver an integrated programme plan that ensures that project deliverables and milestones are met alongside compliance with internal and external processes and requirements.


This role entails the full range of scientific project management responsibilities including liaising with a variety of internal teams covering research administration, legal/contracts, finance and IT security.

Your role


The initial programme of projects includes large national and international consortia, including the Stratified Medicine Paediatrics study, a new ERC funded collaboration, and several research projects with Genomics England and other national and international collaborators.

The Research Programme Officer role provides an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a wide range of research-.
Experience of research contracts and research governance matters.
Experience with European Union research funding.

Contract duration:
This position is a 3 year project based contract.

Job location:
This role is based in Hinxton, near Cambridge, UK.

You will be required to relocate if you are based overseas and you will receive a generous relocation package to support you.
