We are looking for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to work with a Chartered Building Services Engineering Consultancy in Preston.

They have come through the Pandemic well, utilising the Furlough scheme were required but most importantly retaining theirstaff throughout.

Now, they are at the point where the workload has, again, stretched the resources of the business so they think that within the next few months they will be requiring another Mechanical Building Services Engineer to start with them.

The criteriafor a Mechanical Building Services Engineer within their business is a little different to the norm, they take people wh have come from the tools and progressed into design, so if you have a HNC but not a degree that won't be seen negatively.

For this rolethey would hope that you have had some design experience working through all RIBA Stages 1-4 and are able to design across all stages.

You will be working across a broad range of engineering projects, including both new build and refurbishment projects across, predominantly, the North West of England and local to Preston, Lancaster, and Carlisle.

Projects will be based in the Education,Residential, Healthcare, and Industrial sector.

You will be working on Hospitals, Student Accommodation, University Buildings, Council projects and new build offices, this will provide you with great experience across a variety of sectors.

You will be exposedto the day-to-day duties of a Mechanical Building Services Engineer working with the Building Services Engineering sector and you will be working with other Engineers and Seniors on your projects.

You will be exposed to Autocad, Revit, Hevacomp, Cymap and IES/TAS software as part of your development within this role.

There will also be some opportunity to attend internal and external training courses, meet with supply chain partners and attend regularCPD events to help you develop faster.
