Senior Care Assistant Nights

Atrium are recruiting on behalf of a client for Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to provide support to dementia residents based in Sunderland area.

Your role will also include working with:

Mental Health
Physical/Learning Disabilities
Dementia/Alzheimer's
Challenging Behaviours
End of Life Care
Elderly support

Duties:

Helping our residents with personal support and care.
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
Maintaining care plans.
Support in training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members.
Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual).
Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.
Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members.

Experience/ Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in care.
Divers License.
Right to work in the UK.
Previous experience of 1 year min with any of the abovementioned areas of care.

12 hour shift
10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Holidays
Monday to Friday
Night shift
