Hours: 37.5 hours

Salary:
£65,000

Toni at Amber Mace is exclusively working on behalf of a fantastic organisation who are looking to recruit a Clinical Care & Governance Lead for their purpose built Care Home in Berkshire rated 'GOOD' by the CQC.

The home is surrounded by acres of woodland and landscaped gardens and is also very closely located to a beautiful retirement village for those living independently.

Your role includes:

To provide effective operational and clinical leadership and management of all clinical care services within the centre.
Develop and maintain an effective clinical governance framework to ensure the excellence of nursing/care provided.
Recruit and retain staff ensuring the team have the right skills and levels of care.
You will also be involved with appraisals, disciplinaries and training along with ensuring staffing resources are planned, managed and deployed effectively.
Contribute to annual budget proposals and monitor allocated budgets

Key Experience and Qualifications:

Active Nurse Pin (RGN/RMN)
Have at least 2 years' experience leading and managing a team and have a background in elderly care
Excellent proven clinical governance experience (developing and/or implementing effective clinical governance systems and procedures
Great CQC knowledge and experience
Good financial and business acumen experience with budgets
Previous experience within a Good/Outstanding service
Must be able to drive as the home is in a remote location which has very little public transport
