About the role
You will be working in this primary school's resource base for students with Autism on a small group basis.

There are approximately 10 students across primary ages in the class, supported by up to 3 support staff and a class teacher.

You will be workingwith students who have an EHCP statement of Autism.

Students may have difficulties with their speech and language, social communication and behavioural difficulties as part of the Autism Spectrum disorder.

You will help with interventions, engage in play basedlearning and encourage interaction with peers in the base and in the mainstream class.

Students spend 60% of their time in the mainstream classroom also so your role will involve working in both mainstream classes and in the base.

This role will be full-time, Monday to Friday 8.30am-4pm. This role would be ideal for individuals with experience working with students with Autism.

This is an excellent mixed mainstream primary school based in Westminster with a dedicated additional resource provision onsite for students with an EHCP statement of Autism.
