Hills Waste Solutions have an opportunity available for a
Yard Operative to join our team based in
Calne. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£23,190.

75 per annum alongside a great range of benefits, including:

About the role:

Reporting to the MRF Supervisor and MRF Manager, the duties will include:

Maintain the loading and storage areas and keep the site area in a clean and tidy condition at all times
Maintain the kerbside collected battery and waste electrical storage area, sorting items into the correct storage containers.
Maintain pedestrian areas and keep them free of hazards
Assist with the winter maintenance of hard surfaces

This role will be on working 40 hours per week 07:30 - 16:00, Monday - Friday with a 30-minute break each day
There will also be a contracted requirement to work some Bank Holidays and up to 8 Saturdays per year.

About you:

Good Hazard awareness
Willing to work outside in all weathers
Experience within a waste operation environment would be a distinct advantage.
