We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to work in Camden.
The ideal ASD Teaching Assistant is someone who is passionate about working with children with special educational needs, has a positive attitude and excellent communicationskills.
Your role as the ASD Teaching Assistant will be to provide support to students with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and Mental Health Issues in an 'Outstanding' primary school.
You will assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons adaptedto suit individual needs, as well as providing one to one support for students who require it.
- Have experience working with children and young people with additional needs,
- Have a positive and patient approach towards students with additional needs,
- Be adaptable, flexible and able to use your initiative,
- Ideally have experience supporting students with autism or social, emotional and mental health needs,
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people,
- Hold a degree from a reputable university at a 1:1 or 2:1 level.
