My client, a manufacturing company based in Maldon are looking for an Accounts/Finance assistant to join their team on a long term temporary basis.

They are looking for someone to start ASAP or will accept 2 weeks notice.

Salary per annum - £30k - £35k per annum

Per hour - £ £16.80

This role will have exposure to a mix between management accounts preparation, statutory accounts, VAT returns, and ad hoc assignments.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Preparation and posting of monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, depreciation
  • Assist with the balance sheet reconciliation preparation, movement analysis/commentary
  • Support on year end statutory audit requirements
  • Assisting with weekly cash flow forecasting
- fixed asset register maintenance

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing adhoc invoices, Posting of manual payment runs
