We are looking for an experienced post-production generalist with a wide range of offline & online skills including editing, grading, sound design, compositing and CG/VFX.


The Job:
Post-Production Generalist / Specialist

Hours:
Full time (40 hours) Monday to Friday.

Pay:
£30k per annum, Dependent on Experience

The Location:
The Old Dairy, SN4 0EU. Situated just a minute from M4 Junction 15 in Badbury. Own transport is essential as we are not reachable via public transport.

Who are we?

Sandstorm Films is an end-to-end production company based in Wiltshire. We have our own studios, cameras, lighting, full-time crew, full-time post team and production facilities. We have everything in-house that's needed for high-end film production.

What do we do?


Sandstorm Films creates and produces content for high-end TV commercials, music videos, corporate films and narrative TV & film production.

We crew, kit, direct, shoot, edit and animate all in-house.

Over our 20 years of business, we have worked with the top brands in the UK and abroad, on some of the top productions in the industry.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a keen individual who already shows a lot of talent in some of the following areas. A willingness to develop skills in order to become a multi-skilled member of the team is essential.

Software Experience, in order of importance:

  • After Effects
  • Premiere Pro
  • Audition
  • Photoshop
  • Resolve
  • Blender

Desired skills:

  • Compositing
  • Animating
  • Sound design
  • Editing, demonstrating an appreciation of pacing and storytelling
  • An understanding or strong interest in grading
  • The ability to work as part of a team and on your own
  • Able to take direction and feedback from peers and management
How would it work?


You'll report to our in-house production team including the head of production, creative producer, head of and our senior editor.

You'll work as part of a team however on some occasions you'll be required to take responsibility for the creation or editing of content for an entire project on your own, while the wider team supports you in terms of feedback, quality control and client liaison.
