Description
Our client specialises in leasehold property management surveying services which cover the South Coast. They are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their Accounts department based in their office in Newhaven.


Responsibilities

  • Enquiries
  • Invoices
  • Teaching and supporting staff when producing service charge and ground rent invoices.
  • Dealing with issuing relating to the production of invoices.
  • Paying supplier invoices which are above staff limits
  • Arrears
  • Approving the arrears reports for all staff for their probationary period
  • Dealing with/assisting staff with arrears up to and including Stage
  • To actively learn the details of the arrears procedure beyond stage 3 (currently supervised by JU)
  • Yearend Accounts
  • Assisting staff members with the preparation of the yearend accounts
  • Helping staff to work them out and finalise
  • Answering Accountant's queries if they cannot be answered by the member of staff
  • Reconciliation
  • Approving the bank reconciliation for all staff
  • Helping with issues relating to bank reconciliations
