Main Purpose of the Job


Working closely with content teams, the Marketing Specialist will support the generation of marketing materials and maintain visual aspects of the Biosynth brand.

There are a number of opportunities to support across digital marketing, SEO/website and Graphics, depending on expertise.

The post is based in Compton, Berkshire, and offered as a part time basis of approximately 0.8 FTE, flexibility on working pattern is available.


Key Responsibilities

Events

  • Manage the organization of European conferences and industrial tradeshows. Manage bookings and materials and act as key point of contact, maintaining records and coordination of shipments. Collect information for key eventrelated metrics

Social Media

  • Manage the content planner for Biosynths main social media accounts. Schedule posts, ensure content is produced by content team, assist in content preparation as needed. Develop SM strategy in line with best practice, work with digital marketing on paid content and campaigns
  • Plan and prepare newsletters and other emarketing campaigns. Develop strategies for campaigns using best practice. Monitor marketing inboxes. Manage and develop use of marketing CRM system to include data management, customer segmentation, A/B testing, data analytics and reporting

Design

  • Help maintain the visual aspects of the Biosynth brand curated and consistent across different media
  • Design, maintain and develop branded templates as needed. Assist in editing of technical marketing material (print and online) and other web content according to the brand guidelines

Communications

  • Support communications team members with preparation of specific internal newsletters and support development of content as needed.

Website

  • Work with the content team to assist in updating the website with content according to SEO bestpractice. Proofread and edit content. Assist in keyword research and on page and off page optimization
  • Experience of working in a marketing department (B2B preferred) is required
  • Experience in coordinating exhibition at events would be very beneficial (booking, tracking, shipment)
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO
  • Experience with formatting content and documents to a high standard
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good IT awareness and skills
  • Experience using design software is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good team working skills and the ability to collaborate with others

This role will ideally be 0.8 FTE. These hours can be spread over 5 days or 4 full days.


The role will be a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our site in Compton, Berkshire for 3 days a week.
