Temporary Support Worker / Personal Assistant is required for a 33-year-old autistic female who lives in her own home in Bothwell.

She has a fairly busy week attending clubs etc., and enjoys swimming, riding, arts and crafts, drama and visiting museums.

Help with personal care is required. Also, support with housework and cooking meals.


Hours of work:

24 hours per week

Working either a 24-hour shift (9.30 am am)

or 2 x 12-hour shifts (9.30 am pm and 9.30 pm am)

Overtime may be available to cover leave for the existing team.

There may be some flexibility as to what day/days shift(s) can be worked.


Temporary until February 2024 as covering maternity leave. After this, some permanent hours may be available, to be confirmed nearer the time.


Rate of Pay:
£11.40 per hour.


Driver with access to own vehicle is essential - mileage will be paid.

If you are successfully hired; you will be employed directly by a Private Employer on a PAYE basis and will be entitled to all statutory rights as set out by Employment Law such as paid holidays and statutory sick pay (where eligible).
