Description
Due to expansion, we have an exciting role for a
Technical Author/Document Controller to join a client of ours based in the Rawtenstall area


Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Create, maintain, control and timely delivery of technical documentation manuals, in accordance with CE and UKCA compliance. Buildbooks, Safety bulletins, etc. for use by external customers, production, and field service teams.
  • Coordinate translation of technical documentation as needed and archiving/retrieval of technical documentation.
  • Update documentation as directed and archive per procedure.
  • Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' understanding.
  • Revise documents as new issues arise.
  • Post digital documents to online portal for customer retrieval.
Ideally you will be degree qualified or possess relevant qualifications/ experience. Knowledge of Machinery and machinery legislation is also desirable, but not essential.

This is an on-site role with flexible working available.

In return you will receive a Salary between £28k - £32k, 25 days holiday (increasing with service), annual bonus, all for a 34 hour week.
