Description

Our client, one of the leading
architecture and installation manufacturers, are looking for a
Welder to join their operations in
Carryduff, County Down.

Pay Rate:

Standard Rate:
£12.50 per Hour

Overtime Rate (After 38+ Hours): £18.75 per Hour

Working Hours:

Mon to Thurs - 8am to 4:30pm, Fri - 8am to 2pm (Potential to change to 4-day week)

Job Type:
Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent Position

Job Duties:

Discharge your duties in line with Spanwall Facades core values
Welding primary aluminium components in a production environment
Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance tasks, record machine accuracy and performance metrics
Complete all quality documentation
Work to factory schedule
Work closely with other fabricators
Keep area clean, check equipment and encourage others to do the same
Other duties as many be reasonably required

Job Criteria:

Essential:

Proficient in MIG Aluminium Welding.
Proficient in steel MIG Welding.
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Welding.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
4 years' experience in a similar role

Desirable:

Proficient in both MIG & TIG Aluminium welding.
Experience in Stainless Steel MIG and TIG welding.
Experience in using CNC Robotic Welder
