Description

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced accounts administrator or bookkeeper to run the accounts for a well-respected company based in central Worthing (with parking).


Here is an overview of the role:

  • Daily use of Sage Line 50 and Excel.
  • Purchase ledger including creating and maintaining supplier accounts, matching invoices/delivery notes against purchase orders, dealing with enquiries, payment run.
  • Sales ledger and credit control including posting sales invoices, creating and maintaining customer accounts, monitoring payments from customers.
  • Liaising with Directors regarding debtor control as required,
  • Running expense accounts.
  • Liaise with Office Manager regarding stock control.
  • Reconcile all nominal ledger accounts, prepayments, accruals, bank before producing monthly management accounts.
  • Reconciling and submitting VAT returns on quarterly basis.
  • Running weekly and monthly payroll for four employees, submitting PAYE and year end online.
  • Managing Nest Pension scheme.
We are looking for a bright and conscientious accounts professional with recent experience in a similar role.


Standard hours are 9am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch - this role is part-time, office based, working 14-15 hours with flexibility over which days.

20 days' holiday pro rata. On-site parking.
