My client is a privately owned SME business, with a long history and progressive growth plans to increase both market share and add new ventures.

To underpin this, there is a need now for a qualified Head of Finance to join the business.

Working closely with the MD and local management team, this role has two chief aims; to ensure that the organisation has first class internal controls, reporting and procedures on a day to day basis and to provide commercial and strategic support to key decisionmaking.

You'll have the support of a small finance team but will undoubtedly enjoy and revel in a hands on role that will see you in the thick of the day to day workings of the business.

Your commercial acumen will be sought and challenged - especially whenit comes to decisions that may well affect the overall direction of travel.

As an individual, you'll need to have experience of holding a similar, SME senior finance role.
You'll enjoy the early autonomy of the role and the opportunity to work across the business.
By nature, you'll need to be robust and see opportunities within thechallenges that you'll face.
