Description
Here at Oak Furnitureland our mission is to ensure every home can have high quality, stylish furniture at accessible
prices - sold and delivered in a way that's right for our customers.
As a successful Depot Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting to manage the logistics functions within a
team environment and ensure that all Operation and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. You
will be a positive team player and be confident in driving if required also.

Work & manage all colleagues to comply with standard operating procedures in line with
company policies, achieving company KPI and absence management KPI's and building the
right 'can do' depot culture
Planning of Drivers Routes - in line with Working time directive
- sourcing staff from 3rd party
agencies are planned & managed in line with flex in volume and budgeted costs
Deal with outbound vehicles following the correct company procedure.
Ensure vehicles are loaded on time in a safe, presentable manner
Ensure all vehicles have relevant handling equipment, straps & blankets for delivery crews
Maintain the depot at all times to acceptable standards of housekeeping and lead by
example to a high level of Health & Safety awareness/compliance and action any areas of
concern
Manage & develop the team whilst promoting improvement initiatives

40 hrs per week 5 days out of 7


Essential Skills:

Previous experience within a logistics 2 man home delivery environment with a passion for the customer
experience as this is what sets our delivery teams apart from the rest
An organised and methodical problem solver with good knowledge of EU Driving hours and be able to use routing
software and Taco systems
CPC qualification is not essential
