Live-out Full-time Housekeeper/Cook
Our private client is seeking an experienced daily family housekeeper/cook, to join their family home based in South Kensington. Ready to start NOW


This is a wonderful opportunity, to share your skills and knowledge with a young professional couple the family home set over 3,600 sqft with 4 bedrooms, living quarters, kitchen etc...


The ideal housekeeper, will have experience working within a private household, have an eye for detail, possess a good level of spoken and written English.

Ideally live fairly locally to South Kensington.


Responsibilities:

" Daily cleaning of high traffic areas; living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

" Weekly deep clean of other areas.

" Knowledge of how to clean different surfaces, including wood, stone, marble, and veneer.

" Responsible for answering the door and dealing with couriers, taking deliveries, opening packages etc

" Liaising with household contractors and communicating between them and the principals.

" Household flower arranging/maintenance.

" General day to day running of the household.

" Removal of rubbish


Laundry:


  • Laundry, ironing and steaming of clothes and linens, and coordination with dry cleaners.
  • Ability to wash delicate fabrics, handwash items and wash and iron bed linen.

Cooking;

  • Food preparation with service. (Recipes will be provided)
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparation required (although breakfast and lunch will be lighter meals).
  • Laying the table for dinner or preparing dinner trays to take to the study or bedroom.

Working day(s); Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm with 1 hour break (each day)


Salary:
competitive salary in line with market rate

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.

£45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

  • South Kensington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Housekeeping: 2 years (required)
