Harveys Windows & Conservatories Ltd - a long established,Leicestershire based firm with an enviable reputation for providing quality services and products to the domestic and light commercial market have an exciting opportunity for an experienced surveyor.


The Role

As a Window and Door Surveyor, you will carry out precise surveys at customers' properties after they have placed an order with us, providing accurate measurements and drawings that enable a timely and successful installation to take place.

Involves working to a pre-arranged diary where visits to customers homes have been arranged in order for the surveyor to carry out a detailed survey of products sold.

The contracts signed up will be reviewed for accuracy of information and product specification. A full detailed survey will be completed to determine manufacturing sizes, and enable products to be ordered accurately. Relevant fitting detail to be noted.

Post survey communication with the sales team where necessary, to ensure accurate translation by the surveyor into the ordering phase of the process, using on line cloud based order platforms (training given)


Qualities required

Previous experience of upvc (and potentially aluminium) surveying, backed by NVQ Level 3 in Fenestration and installation (or willing to work towards), or reference backed industry experience.

A working knowledge of current Building regulation requirements is needed.

An energetic, organised and accurate individual with excellent verbal and written communication and customer skills to support and build on the Harveys brand reputation

Full, clean driving licence and computer literacy also needed.

Salary £30 - £45k per annum (based on experience) Full time or part time equivalent
