What is the overall job?
We are looking for a Financial Administrator to join our Multiplex Services team at Peterborough City Hospital. You will be working as part of a small team of two, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Raising of site Purchase Orders
  • Processing of invoices (associated with Purchase Orders)
  • Assistance with preparing payment notices
  • Inputting payment notices / invoices on IFS (our accounts system)
  • Assistance with cost reporting
  • Reconciling and chasing of client payments
  • Liaison with the site team on related matters
  • Ad hoc financial administrative support as required.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • Experience working in an administrative role and strong organisational skills
  • Previous experience working in a Finance Team is desirable
  • Any experience working in the facilities or construction industries would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of accounts payable systems and processes would be advantageous, however training will be provided on the existing system IFS.
  • A relevant qualification would be advantageous though is not essential.
