About Us:
At ICAN Education we provide Maths, English and Science tuition for children aged 4-18 years.

We pride ourselves on building the confidence of our learners whilst delivering fun and engaging lessons, tailored to the individual needs of our students.

Due to expansion, we are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed tutors who can offer expertise in Maths, English, or Science to Primary and Secondary students.

Our tutoring sessions include both one to one and group sessions, providing a unique blend of personalised attention and collaborative learning.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver in person tuition on a one to one and small group basis.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons for all students in line with the new curriculum.
• Ensure lessons are tailored to individual needs and cater for a range of learning styles.
• Provide detailed feedback to parents, offering insights into skills learnt, student progress and areas of improvement.
• Monitor and track progress consistently and make adaptations accordingly.

Requirements:

• Hold a PGCE or QTS
• Experience working with primary/secondary students
• Strong knowledge of the new curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles
• Ability to be creative
• Good use of ICT
• Good organisation skills

• Cwmbran: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
• Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
