Are you an experienced Nursery practitioner looking for the next step in your career?

Our client is looking to recruit a Supervisor to join their childcare facility based in St. Austell.


With 18 Nurseries across the south west, and over 30 years of experience in the early years sector, our client's vision and mission is to inspire childcare and education from an early stage, enabling future success through a positive learning attitude.


Reporting to the Nursery Manager, the purpose of the role will be to lead, manage and motivate the team and room while implementing policies, procedures and quality across the nursery.


The successful applicant will coach and enable colleagues to create safe and stimulating environments in line with the EYFS and the ethos of the company.

Building quality relationships with parents and external agencies will be key, whilst being responsiblefor safety, safeguarding and welfare of children and colleagues.


Salary:
£ £10.30 per hour dependent on experience / qualifications

Hours:
Full-Time ideal, minimum 30 hours per week, with operating hours from Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 18:00


Nursery Supervisors are responsible for ensuring the provisions of the Health & Safety at work act 1974 and associated regulations and policies are observed and upheld in their area.

Preferred applicants will be able to showcase some or all of the following qualifications / experience

  • Applicants must have NVQ Level 3 in Early Years' qualification or equivalent.
  • Level 2 Safeguarding
  • Paediatric first aid
  • Demonstrable supervisor experience including supervisions, inductions and development plans.
  • Evident passion for working with children and delivering high quality childcare/early years' education.
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to plan own work and resources.
  • Good relationshipbuilding skills.
