This exciting role will suit an experienced and confident online marketing executive/manager. You will join the team to promote our University, partnerships and the courses available.


Our mission is to widen participation in education to those who have been unable to further their education or not needed to study for some time.

As the Marketing Team Lead you will be responsible for growing student numbers year on year. You should be a good team player as you will be working closely with most departments in the company. On a regular basis you will be coordinating and planning campaigns, content production, events, articles etc.


We have never had our own internal Marketing Manager, previously we have only had freelance and remote marketeers so there is lots of scope for improvement and development in sales and processes.


Your Role:


  • Leading the full campaign management, inclusive of brand objectives, campaign briefing, test & learn evaluation.
  • Analysing campaigns and making recommendations to turn data into commercially successful campaigns.
  • Supporting the recruitment team to define targeting strategies & undertake post campaign analysis.
  • Working collaboratively with central functions to deliver business growth ambitions.
  • Managing the advertising program across all channels, seeking new opportunities
  • Supporting the management of key brand relationships with third parties and industry influencers.
  • Supporting the management of the annual events program, including smaller regional events as well as larger national exhibitions
  • Identify gaps in our current processes as well as constantly finding ways to enhance our marketing program
  • Conducting research on markets, products and competitors to identify opportunities for growth
  • Developing marketing plans for all areas of the business, including creating an advertising budget and timeline for implementation
  • Help to develop the team to foster creativity and innovation
  • Monitor and report goals and insights to Senior Management Team
  • Provide regular reporting to the Head of Marketing and Advisory Board
  • Supports the varying departments with marketing content to improve brand positioning overall

About You:

We are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years+ in a similar role with a proven record of successful lead generation
  • Demonstrate passion for the customer
  • You will be high energy, innovative, proactive and resourceful
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills particularly written and presentation skills to audiences of any size
- strong interpersonal relationship skills for establishing, building, and maintaining relationship with multiple stakeholders

  • Great communicator, able to work collaboratively not only internally but with partners and potential clients and students
  • An eye for creativity and attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills (not essential)
  • Events management experience (not essential)
  • Proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems
  • Advertising experience
  • A compelling storyteller with a strategic and analytical mind that can engage and educate customers and prospects
  • Commercial awareness and strong analytical skills
  • A strong knowledge of the UK education system

Salary:
From £22,000.00 per year
