Description

We're looking for a highly-organised team player with experience of reaching Sussex audiences.

You will:
- take a lead role in making sure complex information is translated so it is easy for people to understand
- work collaboratively with varied teams across a large institution, reacting quickly to respond to new information and update existing content
- represent the team with senior stakeholders and provide digital guidance
- passionately advocate for web best practice principles and champion accessibility
- have a sound understanding of Sussex audiences and their differing user-needs
- change the way people think about digital, by articulating the benefits of user-focused content design
- give ongoing training and support to colleagues at all levels of the organisation, so they can produce their best work and collaborate effectively with others.

You may also need to:
- supervise junior staff, potentially with line-management responsibility
- occasionally work out-of-hours, including weekends.
