Servoca Resourcing Solutions are looking for a Specialist Support worker for a social justice charity based in Wakefield for a 3 month role to start ASAP, with the possibility of the role going permanent.


Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable service users.
  • Proven experience of being able to deliver structured support through either housing or social care.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Previous experience of working with drug and alcohol recovery.
  • Knowledge of Crisis Support
  • Knowledge of helping service users wth tenancy issues, payment of rent, and claiming og benefits.

Duties:


  • Be able to coordinate 3 x rough sleeper outreach workers.
  • Oversee rota.
  • Produce reports, stats, and spreadsheets when needed.
  • Monitor budget spend.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Liase with external partners including police, health, housing, council, landlords, and substance support agencies.
  • Running of the service.
  • When needed cover outreach visits across the area.
