This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join an innovative, award-winning business at an exciting stage of its journey.
A key role at the heart of the business, the Financial Controller will bring an appetite to challengeand be challenged, and a restless ambition to improve the operations of the Finance Team and its critical role in the success of the Group.
Remote working - The FC will occasionally be required to attend the company's office; to attend physical meetings, briefings, training courses and marketing functions which are necessary for the proper performance of duties.

Assignment Details:
- Reporting directly to the CEO's & Chairman and the key focus of this role will be to manage the Group's Finance function.
- Implement updates and improvements to the accounting systems.
- Management and development of the finance team
- Prepare annual financial accounts for the Group & tax returns.
- Prepare third party company accounts for filing at Companies House & HMRC.
- Producing monthly management reports.
- Quarterly Group VAT returns.
- Multicurrency cash management including credit control and forecasting.
- Overseeing invoice processing.
- Cash receipting and allocation and producing daily cash report for the CEO.
- Processing payments for authorisation by Directors.
- Adhoc tasks for CEO, Senior Managers and Directors.
- A key contributor to businesswide management decisions and development of opportunities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the activities of the whole business group. This is a role at the heart of the business, not on the sidelines.
- Administration and other duties relevant to the role
Skills Required:
- ACA/ACCA Qualifications are required
- Experience of Sage line 50.
- Good technical accounting skills to manage multiple currencies and companies, trial balances and intercompany charges and reconciliations.
- Experience in preparing and consolidating management accounts for a group of companies.
- Demonstrable experience in developing a team to achieve its potential
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work to deadlines, quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable.
