Description

The purpose of this role is to train alongside the Financial Advisers to give independent financial advice to clients within FCA rules and the businesses' procedures.

Hampshire Hill are a business of professional independent advisers with clear and transparent pricing, they cover full comprehensive planning including future cashflow with differing levels of ongoing service to suit their clients' individual needs.

Based in Nottingham, the friendly and approachable team consists of 15 individuals.

Their mission is to challenge the perception of financial services one client at a time.


Duties and responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises
  • Conducting indepth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims along with the Lifestyle Account Manager
  • Working with the Technical Team, analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
  • Completing risk analysis
  • Along with the Technical Team, researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
  • Designing financial strategies
  • Assisting clients to make informed decisions
  • Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products
  • Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances either yearly or six monthly
  • Promoting and advising on financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targets
  • Working closely with the Operations Team and financial services providers
  • Communicating with other professionals, such as estate agents, solicitors and valuers
  • Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
  • Working with the Technical Team to produce Suitable financial reports bespoke to the client's needs
  • Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments
  • Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products.

Skills

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Some knowledge of investments, savings, and money management.
  • Great people & communication skills both written & verbal.

Experience (Essential): 1-2 years financial planning experience


Qualifications:
Level 4 diploma in financial planning (or equivalent DipPFS or DipFA)
