My client is an E-commerce business with over 95% sales in Amazon, looking to recruit an experienced buyer who will have previous experience purchasing pest control products.

And be familiar with compliance and UK regulations.

You will work as part of the purchasing team and will carry out procedures related to purchasing with a focus on ensuring goods are purchased within budgeted costs and on time developing products with suppliers, negotiate terms and set up development scheduleAnalysis of data to identify opportunities.

Find suitable suppliers, sample review and draft development schedule

Full-time: 9.30am-6:00pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for the input of accurate cost and selling prices into the system, updating and changing where necessary
Tracking deliveries, updating trackers to ensure all is documented
Running reports when necessary
Raise and manage Purchase Orders

The responsibility of data management, including product variations and definitions, price changes and purchase order entry along with sample management and delivery tracking.

Product Management

Managing seasonal items/trends and keeping in order especially for important and high level meetings
Ensuring products are put away and organised
Sample rooms and archived products is easily accessible at all times
Product packs to be created and updated per season
Trend and Market Awareness
Understand competitors and the e-commerce market.
Commercially aware of product trends and key items specific for a season

To be successful for this role you need the following:

Previous experience within a Buyer procurement role

Understand the Ecommerce market
Compliance & UK regulations
Brand and process awareness
High level of Excel knowledge
Good level of accuracy and analytical skills
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines and moving with urgency
Proficient in retail Maths
Well organised and detail orientated
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office
Good presentational skills
