Our client is looking to recruit an Operations Analyst

You will work closely with the Business Unit managers, Global Production, Product, Logistics, Customer Service, Product Data and Sales. These efforts should ensure published reporting is accurate along with maximising the functionality within SAP. Additionally,work closely with the Head of Operations to execute operational goals.


_Responsibilities _

  • Identify and develop Operations metrics, tracking key costs to identify opportunity for cost savings
  • Reconcile operational transactional costs against 3rd party invoicing
  • Identifies project requirements; analysing operations; determining project scope; documenting results;
  • Lead EMEA Sales and Operations planning and reporting
  • Develops problem solutions by describing requirements in a workflowchart and diagram; studying system capabilities; analysing alternative solutions; preparing system specifications; writing programs
  • Maintains systems by researching and resolving problems; maintaining system integrity
  • Review business process and company policies to help enhance workflow and develop operational standards
  • Become a local resource to support system usage by the EMEA Operations
  • Act as the EMEA Operations product expert for SAP related areas of responsibility
  • To work with EMEA Sourcing/Production/Customer Services ensuring products and programs are launched with achievable delivery dates.
  • General day to day tasks to support the smooth running of the Operations team.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviours
Through experience, you must be able to demonstrate acquired skill and measurable success in:

  • Understanding the needs and expectations of internal customers, employ diplomacy and tact, and work well in a team environment
  • Able to think and act crossfunctionally as well as communicate consistently with the needs of the business
  • Must be familiar with a major MRP system (SAP a plus)
  • Influencing, negotiating skills.
  • A personality profile suited for an expansion stage enterprise, i.e. an entrepreneurial, roll up the sleeves type who is selfstarting, flexible, focussed, confident, 'hungry', resilient and resourceful.
  • Able to think through the details and contingencies of options and plans and make sound business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel at an advanced level (ability to develop modelling tools and manage reports)

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Supply Chain related field is strongly preferred
