We are a team of hardworking animal lovers who care about nature and love Drusillas Park.

From red pandas to two toes sloths, from binturongs to macaques
- we have them all. In fact, we have a diverse collection of primates. We are committed to supporting global conservation efforts and achieving the highest possible standards of zoo animal welfare.

Our animal sections are mixed taxa and all new keepers are mentored by our team of experienced keepers. We encourage career progression and development.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Someone confident and outgoing with a minimum of two years' experience working animals and able to commit to working fulltime.
  • A team player and someone with the skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and members of the public.
  • Someone who is confident to carry out animal encounters in a friendly, approachable, inclusive and professional way.
  • Someone who has a positive and approachable attitude with a good work ethic.
  • We'd ideally like you to have completed the Diploma in the Management of Zoo and Aquarium Animals or similar.
  • Ideally, you would live in the local area.

  • Applicants must have a full driving licence and a car.
