The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is a leading Fylde Coast hotel with a reputation for great customer experience.

We are currently expanding our Food and Beverage team and are looking to recruit passionate & experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor with an eye for detail, a total CAN DO attitude and great customer service skills.

Our Food and Beverage team is passionate about making sure all our guests enjoy their stay with us and leave with lasting happy memories.


THE PERSON

PURPOSE OF THE JOB


Under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager, the Food and Beverage Supervisor will deal with the smooth running of the bar and restaurant on a daily basis, ensuring that all guests receive a high level of service by guiding the team.

They will be assisting with the upkeep of all the hotel's bars, stores and cellars.

They will support the Food and Beverage and Assistant Food and Beverage Managers with other pertinent duties as and when required.


EXPERIENCE

  • 1 year of bar experience essential
  • 1 year of restaurant service essential
  • 1 year in a supervisory role essential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises the activities of all staff within the Food & Beverage department to ensure efficient and effective working practices.
  • Follow the department's 'opening up and closing down' procedures.
  • Ensure that guest satisfaction is always a top priority.
  • Ensures they have full knowledge of all wines, spirits and menus served in the restaurant and bar at all times, including any changes to the menus and/or wine lists.
  • Deals effectively with any guest queries or concerns in the absence of the Food & Beverage Deputy Manager or Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Creates a warm, welcoming, and friendly ambience in the restaurant and bars during service.
  • Ensures that all the team follows department procedures.
  • Ensures that all health, safety, and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
  • Assists with the training of staff
  • Completes daily work schedule/job list.
  • Conducts effective working relationships.
  • Motivates fellow team members.
  • Has the ability to work under pressure and to adapt timetable to cope with the changing needs of the business/department.
  • Stock control.
