Working Hours: 37- Employment Type: RegularGrundfos are looking for a Sales Operations Co-ordinator to join the team based in our Leighton Buzzard head office.

What is the purpose of the job?


Within this role you will ultimately be responsible for sharing product and industry knowledge to provide customers with direct procurement services, ensuring local suppliers are selected, maintained and orders managed.

Supporting the supply chain activities for direct procurement and stock management to maintain and improve Customer relationships.


What is the job about?

  • You will be responsible for customer collaboration and communication regarding the fulfilment of orders
  • You will be involved in the selection of local logistics providers for project sales
  • You will coordinate and proceed local procurement and negotiate prices
  • You will create, maintain and monitor local vendor master data, including pricing
  • You will manage Customs clearance for imported and exported goods
  • You will prepare export control and supplier declaration on request by customer sales and support center (CSSC) organization and customers
  • You will analyse and report packaging material to local government
  • You will coordinate and clarify customer inquiries with the involved collaboration partners from the production, quality, logistics, purchasing, service, finance etc.
  • You will use purchasing and logistics data for continuous improvement by looking at trends to identify actions to improve the customer experience
  • You will be responsible for driving process adoption and understanding within CSSC
  • You will support Business Process Owner and Division commercial excellence department in identifying areas of improvement.

What do you need to apply?

  • Solid knowledge of ERP/CRM/BW, ideally in SAP
  • Experience of working with the supply chain, Project Managers and Customers
  • A good communicator at all business levels, with the ability to train and facilitate process adoption
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Selfstarter with a proactive approach and ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to plan and organize
  • Ability to make decisions and act
  • Good crossfunctional collaboration skills with an End to End perspective
  • Happy and confident working in a demanding and changing environment
  • Fluent English skills
