Combined Role - Cover Supervisor (3 days Grade 6) Point £25,979 to £29,777 FTE
Intervention support (2 days Grade 4) Point 4-6 - £23,114 to £23,893 FTE
Actual salary between £17,653 & £20,010 depending on experience
8:30am until 3:15pm (30 minutes lunch unpaid)

We are a popular and oversubscribed school on the edge of the Ribble Valley who has grown in numbers and reputation over the past few years.

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor/Intervention Support person who will:

  • Make a positive contribution to students' learning throughout the school by providing cover supervision for the short-term absence of teachers
  • Provide other general supervisory cover as required
  • Provide additional support to class teachers as required
  • Provide interventions as required with a focus on reading and literacy
  • Provide support within lessons for pupils with additional needs
  • Assist with pastoral administrative tasks as required


At all times the postholder will be expected to uphold the school's reputation, standards and ethos and work within the school's policies and procedures, particularly those regarding health & safety, confidentiality, equal opportunities, special educational needs and child protection.

Interventions - Assistant Headteacher / SENDCO
Cover Supervisor Role - Associate Assistant Headteacher & School Business Manager

Essential Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs at grade C and above (or equivalent) including English and Maths
