Bid & Proposals Writer


My client is a provider of HVAC building services to the commercial and industrial sectors, a specialist in the provision of tailored and bespoke technical solutions.


Due to continued business growth as a result of both new and repeat business a Bid & Proposals Writer is required to join the bids, estimating and proposals team of this HVAC building services provider.


The Bid & Proposals Writer will be responsible for the response to tender enquiries/tender proposals by potential and/or existing clients, ensuring a timely, efficient and effective reply to potential new client(s).

The Bid & Proposals Writer will provide advice on the most accurate response i.e.

producing timely, concise/accurate and compelling bid & supporting documents, completion of PQQ's, editing bid content and re-writing in accordance with the client(s) bespoke requirements along with advising of the quality control aspect of the bid, and providing advise/support on the graphic design, presentation and marketing element of the bid/proposal function.


  • Possess and demonstrate a sound knowledge and expertise of the Bid Writing process ideally served within the Built Environment i.e. M&E HVAC Building Services and/or Hard FM Management settings.
  • Possess a track record of professional Bid Writing and submitting bid materials in a services environment
  • Possess a high standard of literacy and document formatting with meticulous attention to detail, especially for proof reading and editing bid/proposal reports and submissions.
  • Possess and be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of MS Office & Bid Writing software packages, especially Word, Excel & PowerPoint, comfortable with formatting MS documents to exacting standards
- £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits Package

  • The office location for ths position is Liverpool however there could be the option to work from home as business needs require
