Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support:


  • Provide primary support to the Director and secondary support to other senior team members as required.
  • Ensure that company goals and objectives are met efficiently by prioritizing tasks and maintaining organizational standards.
  • Manage administrative functions including drafting written communications, preparing reports, and creating presentations.

HR Administration:


  • Handle all HRrelated administrative tasks including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
  • Assist in the onboarding process by preparing employment contracts, organizing orientation programs, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and handle sensitive HRrelated matters with discretion.

Communication and Event Planning:


  • Act as a liaison between employees, external clients, and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination on various projects.
  • Plan and organize team communications and events, both internal and offsite, to promote team cohesion and productivity.

Administrative Support:


  • Provide general administrative support including typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of filing systems.
  • Manage project statuses, resources, and timelines, and provide regular updates to management and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role, preferably reporting directly to upper management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and environments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • Tact, diplomacy, and professionalism in all interactions.

Hours: 25 hours per week; Monday - Friday, 9am-2pm


Contract: 6-12 months


Buckswood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau now the Disclosure and Barring Service.

You must also have the right to work in the UK with appropriate Visa if necessary.

If you have not lived/worked in the UK for the past 5 years you will need to provide a Police check from the country in which you have been living and working.
