Role Overview:


Rogerstone Park is the biggest site in our Meals division, employing around 1600 people and producing a wide range of products for major retailers.

It's a busy, fast-paced environment and you'll be playing a key role in driving HSE standards across the site


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the HSE Manager in the delivery of the site's health, safety and environment plan.
  • Regularly conducting HSE inspections, audits, and tours to ensure compliance and improve standards.
  • Delivery health & safety training.
  • Collating, examining, and reporting on HSE data analysing trends and putting corrective actions and measures in place.
  • Working with managers and colleagues across the site to promote a safetyfirst culture.
  • Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work.

About you:


  • Experience of working in a HSE or H&S Advisor/Controller role, ideally in a manufacturing or similar fastpaced environment.
  • Ideally NEBOSH qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop good working relationships with and, when appropriate, challenge colleagues at all levels.
  • Proactive approach, keen to look for new and improved ways of working to drive HSE standards.
  • Able to collate and analyse data.
  • Good knowledge and experience of MS Office (particularly Excel).
