Description
Technomate is a CCTV Security and AV Audio/Video Distributor.

We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Warehouse Operative to join our team in Edmonton, N18.

The main duties of this role will include:

  • Pick & pack orders for mail order (boxes, pallets).
  • Pick orders for instore sales / collection with handover to customers.
  • Load/unload deliveries (lorries, vans, 20ft/40ft containers).
  • Stock replenishment (warehouse and showroom).
  • Ensuring all stock is located in the correct place and are correctly stored within the respective locations.
  • Handling and processing customer and supplier returns.
  • Working on the trade counter when quiet or when assistance is required.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse inside and outside (car park).

  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Demonstrate a "cando" attitude
  • Work well as part of a team
  • The ability to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision. Be proactive.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Have integrity take responsibility for your actions
  • Be friendly and approachable

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. We are closed on bank holidays and during Christmas.

  • Pick & pack orders: our system is manual, not automated, so you will need to learn product locations. Please confirm this is okay.
  • For unloading 20ft/40ft containers, products are loose and not on pallets. Please confirm this is okay as it can take up to 3 hours to unload a container.
