FLT Driver / Counterbalance Driver


The Best Connection have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced forklift truck (Counterbalance) driver to join a major bi-folding windows and doors manufacturer based in Brighouse (HD6).

The hours of work will be 7.30 am pm from Monday to Friday this role is 20% FLT 80% Yard Operative


The role will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Managing the unloading of all Goods Inwards
  • Checking stock against delivery notes
  • Moving 10ft stillages across the yard as and when required.
  • Assistance in moving stock around the yard and into different departments.
  • Have referenceable experience operating counterbalance forklift trucks.
  • Be physically sound and comfortable with some handball.
  • Have a track record of punctuality and reliability.
  • Be confident operating the vehicle adhering to stringent H&S guidelines.

Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
