Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller, working closely with the sales and property teams, you will take ownership of the P&L model and Balance Sheet for the Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) within the European region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Working alongside other members of the financial team to ensure adjustments are accounted for correctly, you will review and link the investment model for each SPV to the P&L model and Balance Sheet.
  • Operating closely with the operational and commercial teams, to identify and implement all cost saving opportunities, ensuring they are tracked, reported, and analysed to ensure that financial targets are achieved.
  • Providing added value financial commentary to support standard regular financial and management reporting. Identifying opportunities for improving yields and commercial outcomes and advising stakeholders accordingly.
  • Supporting adhoc projects as required, you will be compiling the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, assisting in the commercial optimisation of new and existing business ventures, with a strategic focus on the future impact on the P&L and BalanceSheet.
  • Acting within the finance team and working closely with the Kajima property team, you will review and analyse the impact of each SPV investment model on the P&L and Balance sheet of the UK Company.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
  • Previous experience working in the Property / Real Estate sector is essential
  • Strong understanding of P&L's, Balance Sheets and IFRS accounting standards, with a willingness to contribute to decisionmaking with an ability to adjust communication to all areas of the organisational structure.
  • Potential for commercial acumen, any experience of commercial viability studies is beneficial.
  • Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate financial information to financial and nonfinancial senior stakeholders.
