Description
ELB Metalworks is a small family run steel fabrication company in Hull.
We are currently looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join & enhance our small team in supplying general fabrications including steel furniture frames, stillages, trolleys & sub-contract welding.
Duties involve:
MIG welding on mild steel 1.5mm - 10mm
Operating power tools/ machinery including grinders, drills, bandsaw.
Working independently from basic engineering drawings & written/verbal instructions.
Producing batches of products from jigs.
Manufacturing & finishing of products to high quality standards & close tolerances whilst meeting planned timescales.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
The Person:
Able to work within team and also independently to continually improve production methods.
Keen eye for detail when inspecting finished products.
Able to work within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills
Follow health and safety rules & procedures.
Able to maintain high levels of work performance including attendance and timekeeping.
Experience - 3 years preferred.
Pay - Rate dependent on qualifications and skill level.
Salary:
£14.00-£15.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
