Maintenance Vacancies
Venn Group is currently working with a large Educational Institution to recruit for a number of maintenance positions to support the smooth running of daily operations across the campus


Location:
Berkshire

Duration:
Temporary to Permanent

Hours: 36 per week

Hourly rate:
£16.64 PAYE or £19.48 via an umbrella company

Electrician

  • Carry out maintenance of power and lighting systems, including fire alarms
  • Repair and replace electrical equipment in line with BS and EN standards
  • Routinely inspect tools and equipment to ensure H&S standards are continuously met
  • Install, test and fault find on cabling
  • Complete surveys on underground services
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 17th Edition

Plumber

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems
  • Install, fault find and repair equipment and pipework, including unblocking
  • Maintain documentation and repair records in line with SLA's
  • Report hazards and liaise with contractors / management
  • Must have relevant qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3

Heating Ventilation Engineer

  • Maintain and install mechanical equipment to ensure efficient running of HVAC Systems
  • Carry out testing on gas network and identify BMS failures
  • Monitor building systems to reprogramme and achieve energy savings, backed up with detailed reports
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Discipline
