Our Award winning client currently is recruiting for Senior Java Engineers to join their growing Government business unit.

As a Java Engineer you will be helping to develop and deliver next generation communication and intelligence solutions for a wide rangeof clients such as law enforcement agencies, telecommunications companies and compliance agencies.

Minimum Senior Java Engineer requirements:

Minimum of 3 years as a professional Java developer
Experience writing tests for existing and new code to ensure compatibility and stability
Experience with different types of source control (preferably Git), be familiar with continuous integration, testdriven development and be prepared to use agile development techniques to incrementally deliver working software.
Must work well in small teams and pride themselves in the quality job they do

Senior Java Engineer Desirable:

Industry experience of any of the following technologies/skills would be beneficial, but not required:
AngularJS / React JS
Elasticsearch
Docker
Microservice Architecture
Spring
Apache Maven
Apache Hadoop, Kafka or Camel.
Javascript/JQuery/HTML
Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Senior Java Engineer Package:

- £50k - £75k (experience dependant)
