Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview


We are currently looking for a
Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain our client's technology equipment and ensure it is running smoothly, ensuring that servers, networks and computers within the business work efficiently.


Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Configure and maintain servers, routers, switches and other networking equipment
  • Lead project execution and coordinate with other departments
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure that all materials are available
  • Ensure technical documentation are always up to date
  • Seek and propose network and systems solutions to develop the IT services
  • Train new engineers on the job and reviewing their work
  • Processes and procedures are followed according to company standards
  • Handle customer service issues for the department by answering queries on products/ services

Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Degree in Information Technology field (or equivalent)
  • Experience in managing the technical department
  • Professional experience with systems (Microsoft environment), networking (several vendors)
  • Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of server's hardware.
  • Other requirements:
  • Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of diverse computer systems and networks

Other preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Certification as IT Technician (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Cisco, etc)
